Your committee met again on 26th January 2026. They learned that one new member had joined since the last meeting. Helen, our Membership Secretary, reminded us that personal recommendation is the best way of recruiting members. The Treasurer, Patrick, presented the Statement of Accounts for 2025 and they are now ready to be shared at the Annual General Meeting on 7th March.

Our National Coordinator in Norway, Fredrik, is making good progress contacting theological students there to offer them membership of our Society, while Tom in America shared the anxiety being felt by all faith communities over the political and social situation in USA. Our Moderators are to send messages of support to the Lutheran and Episcopal leaders in Minneapolis and to the Bishop of Greenland.

The ‘Young Voices’ initiative reported in The Window has got off to a good start and a bi-monthly programme has been created when the 21+ members will consider issues surrounding Church Unity in March, Trauma and Holy Saturday, aspects of our Liturgies, share in Bible Study, consider Pastoral Care in Neuro-divergent congregations and look at different Advent traditions in our communities across the world. Please pray for this exciting initiative and for Joseph, Rebecca and Mary who are guiding it.

Arrangements for the Annual Meeting in March and for the Conference in September are well in hand. If you have not already done so please register for these as soon as possible.

A small group of members willing to produce our newsletter, The Window, has been formed and their first issue will be in May, so look out for that.
